City Camp

Summer fun and learning

Designed for girls and boys ages 7 -13, our urban full-day camp engages kids in enriching experiences that keep them learning, having fun, and staying healthy all summer long.  Campers enjoy many structured, supervised activities at the YWCA Acre Youth Center, as well as travel by YWCA bus to other sites within and outside the city of Lowell.  Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided, along with opportunities to:

  • Play games
  • Explore arts and crafts
  • Enjoy cooking activities
  • Go swimming
  • Tend a community garden
  • Learn life skills
  • Go on learning field trips

City Camp also provides training opportunities for teens interested in mentoring younger children.  To learn more about mentoring and/or enrolling a child in City Camp, please call us at (978)454-5405.
